Construction Unit
The Construction Unit is responsible for all of the base’s infrastructure and its area of responsibility, both in terms of the functional continuity of the infrastructure of buildings and systems and in terms of ongoing maintenance (breakdown, preventive, planned). In addition, the unit manages the base’s reinforcement and renovation projects. Most construction units are heterogeneous and include IDF civilian employees, permanent personnel, and soldiers. The unit is divided into the following departments:
- Engineering Department – the department responsible for all projects in the unit – management with contractors and production departments and use as an implementation integrator in the characterization, planning, and execution stages.
