- גף הנדסה – הגף האחראי על כלל הפרויקטים ביחידה – ניהול מול קבלנים ומחלקות יצרניות ושימוש כאינטגרטור מימוש בשלבי האפיון, תכנון וביצוע.
תחת הגף לרוב קיימות מחלקות יצרניות – צמ"ה (ציוד מכני הנדסי), מסגרייה, נגרייה, בניין ואחזקה.
- גף מערכות – הגף האחראי על תשתית המערכות בבסיסים בתחומים שונים: חשמל, מים וביוב, מיזוג אוויר, דס"ל, הסקה ועוד.
